Jun is a Seoul-born, NYC-based designer who builds experiences across digital and physical spaces. He currently designs digital community experiences as a UX designer and explores the intersection of interior design and branding through his personal practice. He co-designed this website.
Description
<Our Home, New York> is a community project that archives the stories of people who call New York home.
Each participant responds to the question, “What makes New York home to you?” with a single photograph and a short story. One person’s story is framed as a window, and as these accumulate, they form the shape of a home.
This collage of stories is reassembled into the silhouettes of buildings that symbolize New York—brownstones, walk-ups, and high-rises. By reading others’ stories and adding their own, people find comfort and are invited to see how this city has been shaped.
